The site sets no cookies, neither its own nor anyone else’s. No traffic measurement, no advertising, no social buttons pulling code from outside. Even the typefaces sit on the site’s own server, so no external service sees your visit.
When you pick a language, the site remembers it by writing an entry called cb-lang into the browser’s local storage. It holds two letters, it or en, and it brings you back to the right language next time.
It is not a cookie: it does not travel with requests, never reaches the server and never leaves your device. It stays until you clear it.
The button below removes it at once. You can also find it in your browser settings, under site data. Once cleared, the site goes back to choosing the language from your browser settings.
What remains are the requests the hosting provider records in its own logs for security. They do not depend on the browser and cannot be switched off here: the privacy policy covers them.
